Meet The Young Panda
In Bälde erscheint das neue Panda-Bear-Album «Panda Bear Meets The Grim Reaper», das ist bekannt. Nicht bekannt war mir die erste Solo-Platte von Noah Lennox, die er 1998 als Zwanzigjähriger veröffentlicht hat – und die glücklicherweise auf Youtube anhörbar (oder zu horrenden Preisen auch käuflich zu erwerben ist).
Und die Song-Skizzen des jungen Noah Lennox werden wohl auch künftig nicht weiter verbreitet werden, sagte er doch einst in einem frühen Interview: «There’s like two or three songs that I guess I still like on that album but I feel like such a different person now. It’s not that I’m not proud of it, or that I don’t believe in it, but I’m not so excited about it that I feel like I need to reissue it and get it out to a whole bunch of other people who haven’t heard it.» Deshalb einfach so, die erste Panda-Bear-Platte, (während sein neues Album nun beschrieben wird):
